I will write what I did:

$> svn checkout svn://svn.berlios.de/linux-uvc/linux-uvc/trunk
$> cd trunk
$> patch -p0 < a.diff    (your patch)
$> make
$> sudo make install
$> sudo depmod -a
$> sudo modprobe uvcvideo
$> dmesg

What can I use to sniff usb traffic in windows vista?... There the cam 
is working...
