What should be the expected result here? I feel device driver is not registered for my web cam. luvcview is giving me error: "ERROR opening V4L interface : No such file or directory " Is it because the cam is not registered as /dev/videoX Will it work fine if I use latest uvcdriver code? I have seen the change committed for latest release . If I incorporate that change in my uvcdriver code will that be enough? Is it still possible to use luvcview application by specifying device other than /dev/video with -d option when the device is registered as /class/input/input2 ? This is for my better understanding since I am a newbie into this. Thanks in advance... Minnu
