Not that I know of.

Both I guess. The V4L2 API doesn't clearly state how dual (or multi) stream 
devices should be handled, so this is a grey area.

Will your device support simultaneous preview and regular streams ? If so you 
will indeed need two streaming interfaces. This is not supported by the Linux 
UVC driver so we will probably have to work together.
