Could you please set the trace parameter to 255 ('modprobe uvcvideo trace=255' if the driver is not loaded yet, or 'echo 255 > /sys/modules/uvcvideo/parameters/trace' if the driver is already loaded). Plug the camera and check in the kernel log if the driver reports anything new.
