Could you please provide me with the complete output of

lsusb -v -d 5986:0205

using usbutils 0.72 or newer (0.73+ preferred) ?

Which version of the uvcvideo driver are you using ? Quirk 2 shouldn't be 
needed for most "Bison" webcams anymore. Could you try the latest driver ? 
Instructions to download and compile the driver from sources are available at

Some webcams are mounted upside down, and while they usually support hardware-
based image rotation, that function is most of the time not exposed through 
USB :-/

A userspace library handles image rotation (and more). It might need to be 
updated for your particular webcam model though. You should contact Hans de 
Goede, the libv4l2 author (please CC [email protected]).
