The uvcvideo driver supports UVC compatible webcams only. In a nutshell, UVC
(which stands for USB Video Class) is a standard that defines how USB cameras
should communicate with computers. Before UVC webcams used proprietary
communication protocols, and every webcam model needed a specific driver. Now,
UVC compatible webcams should all work using a single driver, much like all
USB flash sticks don't require a model-specific driver.

To check whether your camera is UVC compatible, please read http://linux-
uvc.berlios.de/faq/. If the Trust MB-3600R is UVC compatible it should work
with the uvcvideo driver out of the box (not counting bugs in the driver, the
camera, or both). If it isn't you will need another driver. In that case you
should ask on the [email protected] mailing list.

If your camera is UVC compatible and works with the uvcvideo driver, please
drop me a note so that I can update the supported devices list on the website.
Please attach the output of

lsusb -v -d 145f:013d

to the e-mail (using usbutils 0.72 or newer - 0.73+ preferred).

Best regards,

Laurent Pinchart
