First of all, thanks to Paulo for explaining to me this process step-by-step. After installing the driver from the linuxtv.org hg repo, I ran my original python program, wich failed with the same message as before: > kandin...@derive:~/data/work/hack/pyralax$ python dualcam.py > VIDIOC_STREAMON error 28, No space left on device Trying to run two concurrent instances of luvcview results in the second one failing like before as well. First instance: > kandin...@derive:~/data/work/hack/pyralax$ luvcview -d /dev/video0 > luvcview 0.2.4 > > SDL information: > Video driver: x11 > A window manager is available > Device information: > Device path: /dev/video0 > Stream settings: > Frame format: YUYV (MJPG is not supported by device) > Frame size: 640x480 > Frame rate: 30 fps Second instance: > kandin...@derive:~/data/work/hack/pyralax$ luvcview -d /dev/video1 > luvcview 0.2.4 > > SDL information: > Video driver: x11 > A window manager is available > Device information: > Device path: /dev/video1 > Stream settings: > Frame format: YUYV (MJPG is not supported by device) > Frame size: 640x480 > Frame rate: 30 fps > Unable to start capture: No space left on device > Error grabbing > Cleanup done.
