Please execute the following 2 commands *as root*:

lsusb > lsusb.log
dmidecode > dmi.log

This will generate 2 files (in the home dir of your root user):
lsusb.log
dmi.log

copy these to the homedir of your regular user, and then send me a mail
with these 2 files attached. Once I have these I can make sure the necessary
info is in the upside down devices table of libv4l, and I'll get back to you
with instructions how to install an updated libv4l.
