What may be confusing to you is the following: To reduce consumer
confusion, the USB committee made the USB-2.0 spec such that all
existing 1.1 compliant devices would be USB-2.0 compatible without
any change. So these devices can be called USB-2.0 compliant too!
So, while USB-1.1 specifies two speeds, which the device may or may
not suspport, USB-2.0 specifies three speeds, which the device may or
may not support..... Something being USB-2.0 OFFICIALLY means you
should ask the question: "But does it support USB-high-speed?", and
when you get the answer: "No, it supports USB-FULL-speed", you have to
know that FULL speed is only 12 Mbps, and nothing close to the full
speed of USB-2.0, which is 480 Mbps.....
Confused? Good! It means you've been paying attention.
Roger.

Q: It doesn't work. A: Look buddy, doesn't work is an ambiguous statement.
Does it sit on the couch all day? Is it unemployed? Please be specific!
