This is exposure for "Exposure (Absolute)", correct ?

I mean for the one that can set the range values from 20 to 5000.
this only works when option is in "shutter priority mode"

This is weird, in logitech cameras you can't manually change exposure unless "Exposure, Auto" is set to manual. All other modes, if available can
override the
value set in "Exposure (Absolute)".

In "Exposure, Manual" it doesnt work.

in binary this numbers are:
100111
1001110
10011100
100111000
1001110001
10011100010
100111000100

You need to disable "Exposure, Auto Priority" or the the absolute value
can/will be overridden.

The "Auto" are disabled.

From the links you posted I've seen some really strange values:

Exposure, Auto Priority
    ID : 0x00000010,
    Type : Boolean,
    Flags : { CAN_READ, CAN_WRITE },
    Values : [ 20 .. 5000, step size: 1 ],
    Default : 79

I didnt test this in my system, this post dates from 2008, maybe this problem is updated now, but in v4l2ucp I can set all range values.

I've tested this camera in windows, and about the manual exposure values it seams to match, that is: there are only 8 values? of manual exposure that you can set in windows drivers.

also, in windows drivers there are other options for "light filtering" like: "flurescent lamps, incandescnt lamps, outdoors..."

besides thats, the image quality is the same in linux/windows.
