Hi Oleg, Thanks to you and Andy. As far as I have understood the pn5xx_i2c kernel driver (from NXP or better to say the ACPI support modified one by jr64 user) is needed as the NFC device is not auto-detected/configured via I2C and GPIO and ACPI. Unsure, why the pn544_i2c NFC driver shipped with the Linux v5.1.1 does not work. Or what it is missing. Helpful was the PDF from [1].
