Hi All!
I've got subj. and motherboard 5Ali61 - a Socket 7 with 100Mhz bus and
AGP slot. Videocard has 2Mb of RAM.
It works under RedHat Linux 6.1 with 2.2.12-20 kernel.
And XF86_SVGA Xserver. It works pretty good except one bug:
sometimes a card gives an image consisting of vertical lines of
different colors (I use 16 bit Hi-color) and generally hungs the
videosystem.
The system usually unlocks in few seconds, restores the image and
continues to work normally - but in fatal cases the PC crushes instantly
and can not be "unhunged"- so I have to press Reset:(

Are those troubles due to a buggy card or AGP or drivers?
Can I get a suitable X server for S3 AGP - which will use all hardware
acceleration etc.?
Did somebody have troubles with other video cards on this board?

Thanks in advance.
                Sergey.
