one app. on many X servers

hey is it possible to have one X windows application be displayed on
multiple X displays at the same time.  I mean the same (single running)
application running on one box but being displayed on multiple X servers
like for presentational purposes.  I assume this can't happen because the X
server also contols the input/output, events, etc.  for the application.
Is this a correct asumtion?
