Dear Maintainer(s),
This patch introduces kernel config fragments to enable support
for Intel XL710/X710 ethernet adapters.
This has been built and tested on a Intel RiverForest platform using
meta-crystalforest BSP.
Please merge in meta branch for linux-yocto-3.14 if this looks okay.
Is this also something that you'll want enabled for the newer
kernels ? i.e. the 4.1 kernel that we are prepping for yocto 1.9 ?
It doesn't have to be immediately used, but will sit there waiting
for any relevant BSPs to be uprev'd.
Yes please. That'll help once we start enabling support for this & newer
similar platforms on YP 1.9.
This is now in the linux-yocto-3.14 meta branch, and in the
4.1 meta repository.
Cheers,
Bruce
