I found the solution in https://community.nxp.com/thread/325228. In short imx-rt not supporting iMX6 Sabre lite board, only linux-boundary board. Sorry for the confusion

I would like to configure it for Preempt-RT linux kernel instead of the standard boundary linux kernel. I found that I could just bitbake linux-imx-rt first.
