Hello,

I've just completed an initial Linux 802.15.4 firmware driver for
Freescale's mc13224v ARM7 + 802.15.4 radio and I wanted to let the
community know about it.

The code and more information about this part is available at:

   http://mc1322x.devl.org

and you can find stable builds at:

   http://mc1322x.devl.org/builds/linux802154-serialdev/

This code has been tested with the RedBee hardware
(http://www.redwirellc.com/store/), but it should work with anything
that has an mc13224v in it (with perhaps a few minor changes).

I've been able to attach serial ports to mwpans, run a coordinator,
associate two nodes, and then run izchat between them. It seems to
work very well. I'm especially impressed with how the well Linux stack
handles long input strings in izchat. Nice work! I've verified the
operation with Wireshark using my sniffer firmware (rftest-rx) and
pcap generation script (rftestrx2pcap.pl).

Thanks very much for your good work; I'm very impressed with it and
I'm looking forward to the future development.

Take care,

-Mar.
