Hi,
how do I get access to the at86rf230 driver from user-space?
Do I go the regular way by opening(open()) a driver-file and then use
ioctl()? I am asking because I don't really understand how izchat for
instance gets access.
For 8-bit systems it is necessary to use the
Hardware-Abstraction-Layer(HAL) and Transceiver-Access-Toolbox(TAT) by
Atmel.
We built a protocol on top of the TAT and now we wonder how we can port
it to linux.
Does the HAL correspond to at86rf230-driver under Linux? And if so, what
corresponds to the TAT?
I am new to linux-driver and grateful for any help, hints etc..
thanks and regards
Gerrit
