Well, I have: - Snapshot of the MBR and the firmware partition from an iPod bought a few weeks ago (Rev. 1.1.3), without any updates. - That firmware partition stripped down to ~6MB, as I currently have it on my iPod - A firmware partition image that iTunes would install on that device (29.8.1.3)
You can download the zipped iTunes partition image directly from apple, that's what this IPSW file is: http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPod/SBML/osx/bundles/061-3326.20070507.0Pm87/iPod_29.1.1.3.ipsw Just rename it to .zip and extract it.
