2G: Reset and hold left+bottom (on newer firmwares it only seems to work if the firmware is corrupted and the ipod is connected to a pc)
3G: Connect to PC and Double-Reset (e.g. hold reset until it reboots for the second time (screen will stay off) and gets detected by iTunes) iTunes can restore 3G with something that looks like WTF+iBoot which could be vulnerable to Pwnage2, however it will not be able to use DFU on 2G.
