For those who do not know already (from Twitter feed, IRC, etc.), TheSeven has managed to write a dual-boot bootloader for the 2G. That means we can select to boot our unencrypted code OR the Apple OS. This is a huge milestone and means that real OS development can begin on these things. Also, we have the read-only part of the FTL written. Tomorrow, Farthen should have his 4G nanotron running again, and I should have mine finished by then. I am also working with Marcus Wanner while he builds a NXT Nanotron for the 3G. The 3G should be able to be able to be bruteforced very quick, since, like the 6g, it has an unusual number of LDMIA's in the beginning of the RAM. (this is why Empty was able to brute force his so fast by hand). With two Nanotrons running for the 4G, hopefully finding a working return address will not take very long either.
