Sean mentioned needing to use ODBC. I know on Windoze this is very easy, as
Client Garbage^H^H^H^H Access handles it. There is an ODBC driver for Linux,
although I have yet to use it.
>From the AS400 side you can easily get member data from the AS400 without
getting the entire file. Again, my experience is with Windoze, so I can't help
you write the PERL script.
