I just did a fresh install of Redhat 6.1 & TN5250-0.15.6 on my laptop and the problem
is still there. In fact I can replicate the problem at home from my server, main
workstation, and laptop. I have a coworker experiencing the same issue as well.
This problem has been going on for some time and I just attributed it to the cable
modem network (i.e. lost packets or bad routing or something). Before I did the
tests I sent about 2000 ping packets home with 0% loss just to make sure the network
was running smooth. Also, my SSH session never dropped. The thing I find strange is
that commands from the command line work much better than ones picked off the menu.
Wierd.
Also before the tests I downloaded and installed the latest Cisco PIX binary just to
make sure that was not causing the problem
