Well, if you haven't seen this:
http://www.ltsp.org has made the I-opener (a $99 computer
complete with LCD screen) run thin client. This includes
running tn5250 (since that was the original reason the LTSP
(Linux terminal server project) started.

This might be the cheapest 5250 device around. We are looking
at making some of these work... I'll let you know the results
(have to get the units in first... Circuit City has 30 on backorder here)
