Maybe tn5250 has always done this, and I just didn't notice, but...

The message waiting indicator doesn't seem to get turned on until
after you press a key. (It appears that any key will do, not just an
AID generating key)

For example, if I type:

xt5250 env.DEVNAME=SESS1 as400.klements.com &
xt5250 env.DEVNAME=SESS2 as400.klements.com &

Then sign on to a command line on SESS1 and do something like

sndmsg msg('test') tomsgq(sess2)

The message waiting indicator does not get turned on...

If I switch to sess2 and hit (for example) the "A" key on my keyboard
(it doesnt matter which key you hit) the "MW" indicator goes on.

Any ideas?
