Hello,
A while ago i asked if it was possible to run tn5250 at the console with
font-switching for the 132-screens.
A developer of tn5250 said that might be possible to program it with
SVGA-lib, now my question is, is this gonna be implented or not ?
The reason why i ask this, is because the fonts are great at the console, but
still suck at X, even with the truetype support these days.
And the fact that xt5250 font- and screen-switching is very anyoing....
from little to big, back to little and so on, not quite fun to work with.
Also somethimes screen-refreshing is uncorrect.
At the other hand, these days we got Kylix for Linux, maybe a good idea to
port it to kylix ? , where you are able to create your own screens with your
own choosen fonts and so on.... i think screen-handling is beter under kylix
also. As a matter of fact, it is just an idea of mine, excuse me if i'm wrong.
