Well today's coding leaves us in a little better shape. Here is where we are at:
We handle page breaks correctly. Thanks to everyone who sent in links on scs print codes. If anyone encounters page breaks *not* happening correctly let me know. We sometimes get the page size set right. scs2pdf should handle this everytime, but it only seems to go right once in a while. This hasn't been an important issue yet so I haven't looked very closely. Scott, I duplicated the problem you saw with printing job logs. AFAIK this only happens with job logs, nothing else. If anyone wants to, looking at the raw output using something like Ghex and finding out what is making the spacing screw up would help. I'm guessing it is some print code we just don't handle yet. Something is wrong with the page tree. Everytime I create a PDF with more than one page acrobat informs me that the PDF is corrupt and acrobat is repairing it. If I have more than 12 pages acrobat can't repair it and the file is not viewable. I'm taking the page tree docs home with me to read over again. If anyone has ideas on what is wrong with it feel free to pipe up. Other than that it works great. Sure could use some testing to find out what else doesn't work...
