I could demo setting up DNS (caching only, actually setting up zones is much
more complicated and more than most home users will ever need) and DHCP on a
box for a small LAN. Let me know though before the meeting ;)

DHCP gets a nod!

I should try to have a DHCP server functioning for our next meeting. That
would
make our networking easier. I've been having a hard time getting to the
computer
things I intend so wish me luck (couple of projects ahead of that one).
Remind
me again about the DHCP service.

Let's let DNS wait till later. I'd like to cover SAMBA some more first. DNS
gets
involved. Does anyone want to present on LDAP at some point?
