vmware supports up to three virtual ethernet devices (what mode they're
in depends on the version).  I assume you've set up two devices under
vmware?

I haven't tried this yet myself, but I'd think it would be fairly
straightforward.  You are aware that NICs presented to the guest OS
appear as AMD Lance Ethernet, right?

I also assume one NIC works fine for you?
