Hi Sol and Wayne,
I know of no glitches. Speaker's submission are acknowledged
automatically when they are submitted. I have been receiving copies of
these submissions, but have not been individually responding to
submissions unless I see some problem. After the final program is put
together, around the end of this month, I will be in contact with each
presenters.
Is there a problem?
Hi Al,
I think the problem is that a few speakers, when they get the short message acknowledging their speaker registration, think that there should be something more in the way of an e-mail acknowledgement from you. When they do not get it they sometimes register a second time. If you want you could send them an e-mail acknowledgement and tell them when the preliminary Speaker Program will be posted on the website and that they will be receiving their speaker packet 2-3 weeks prior to the Festival. I would not worry about it. It will all work out.
I will be contacting the Speakers who indicated that they intend to submit papers for the Proceedings By the end of March.
Sol
Regards,
Al
