Hi guys- My name is Tao Tan and I live in Plainsboro. I recently put together a P2-333 box with the intentions of it acting as a router, fileserver, and gameserver. I also made the huge mistake of putting Win2K Server on it. Guess what? Win2K Server doesn't do APM! So I can either leave it on 24/7 to guzzle electricity or convert to Linux, which, as far as I know, can be made to do anything up to landing a space shuttle on an alligator. Anyway, I have absolutely NO experience whatsoever with Linux (aside from some tinkering with FreeSco), and I was wondering if I could haul my box in to one of your meetings, so I can get Mandrake installed and if you guys could teach me some basics of networking under Linux. Thanks. -Tao Tan 27 Linden Ln. Plainsboro, NJ 08536 609-799-9410 P.S.
