Hola:
I've been thinking about the linuxterminalserver project which clusters
machines togheter into one big "system", I've been interested to see if by
running multithreaded applications the threads really get run in separate
computers. So, I wanted to build the kernel and burn it on several CD's
bring them to the meeting and boot all those systems up... but I have the
perfect excuse for not doing so... lack of time... I know just an excuse...
anybody up to the challenge?
On the wireless side:
I found out the hard way that:
-There is no linux driver for cards supporting the 5Ghz (802.11a), there is
one person working on it but the driver is in a very early stage.
-There is no linux driver for cards supporting the new TI 802.11b chips
(double the speed up to 22Mbps)
So... make sure the card you get has a Prism2 chip, or it is supported by
