As far as windows 2000 goes, there is a registry section that contains all of the starttime execs, and you can get the most power over your boot by deleting from here...
Run the command "regedit"
Navigate to the following folder (You are going to get a kick out of how nested this is...)

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

this reg area contains all boot scripts. Delete the ones you don't want, and marvel at how many are there that you didn't know you had!

As far as the business idea goes, I think it is an excellent one, and I would be glad to get involved. I can offer PR and graphic design capabilites, as well as a strong graphics/video/audio hardware/software knowledge base. Let me know how you guys need me and I'd be glad to get involved!

A windows question (if that's allowed...)

In win98 I can run 'msconfig' to edit what processes
start up at boot time. How do I do that with
Windows-2000?

Wayne
