As far as Internet exchanges with more peering options - perhaps you'd give these guys a look:
- https://purecolo.ca/ (Multi carrier data-centre, on OGIX Internet exchange: https://ogix.ca/ ) - https://dnsnetworks.com/en/corporate-cloud-solution.html (Hosting with pure-colo) Any ideas on using this provider? (testimonials or other analysis - please email me private if you've worked with them and/or have some stats on OGIX traffic.) Perhaps that is closer in line to where you might host a server if your end-goal is to peer with more providers to reduce your ping times (ms) and thus delay for multi-media collab in NCR/Canada region. According to this article - OGIX is the successor to OTTIX (and has multiple ISP): - https://obj.ca/article/techopia-ottawa-doesnt-have-internet-exchange-point-heres-why-thats-problem - https://ca.linkedin.com/company/igs-hawkesbury?trk=similar-pages_result-card_full-click - https://ca.linkedin.com/company/storm-internet?trk=similar-pages_result-card_full-click The question might be is there a way to confirm ping times across multiple member ISP (Bell to Rogers, TekSavvy to Storm, etc.) Thanks, Allan Fields ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kenny B" <kennyonfaceb...@gmail.com> To: "Ian! Hadn't heard of jamulus before. The first doc below says 25 ms round trip is a critical threshold, second one says it's not adequate, so that's maybe a rough guideline. 25 ms round trip is like sitting 14 feet apart. Thanks for posting this, I'm encouraged again. I'm on teksavvy. On Sat, Feb 13, 2021 at 3:53 AM Ian! D.
