I read a articule on the Eee PC forums that points out that even if these SSD 
drives have limited rights, there is like to no change that you will right 
the limit.  More likely you would buy a newer version long before the limit 
comes.

I like want Trovals has to say about the new Intel SSD.  For me one of the 
bestest drawback of SSD has been that it can not read and write to the same 
file.  If you save a file it makes a copy of the file you are working on then 
deletes the old one.  Despite these limitations I've bought a Eee PC 901 and 
I'm in love.  I don't need big HDD space, all that I need is a 8Gb SSD card 
and my 8Gb USB stick.   I love that I only need to recharge the battery once 
a day when I get home.
