having never messed with GPS before, i'd like to pick up a decent
but inexpensive USB GPS receiver this weekend for linux
experimentation, but i have yet to find a place that sells same -- my
regular go-to of canada computers claims to have none.

i can see where i can order one online:

http://www.canadagps.com/MouseGPSMain.html

and what little i know of GPS suggests i'd want something like the
GlobalSat BU-353 -- something that talks NMEA:

but i'm open to suggestions, especially where something can be
purchased in town.
