Hello, Sunday I sent the attached mail to try to ask what I thought was
an ontopic question, but I have not seen it, and it does not show in the
archives as of this afternoon. Have I done something wrong?
(I am resending my enquiry using the NCF web mail interface in case the
problem is a spam filter somewhere.)

Subject: Hardware suggestions small laser printers.

I am migrating my kubuntu to a new computer. I am thinking of getting a
fresh laser printer, The Brother unit I am using has a Brother "cups
wrapper" driver which occasionally goes away for several minutes and
then prints out multiple pages of error messages. (normally after I have
closed the web page I wanted to print)
SO
I would like a USB printer that is supported by native CUPS.
Looking at the web I see an HP 1102W, which is about all I want, but HP
says it requires a driver download! SMALL (to fit the small space beside
the computer) and reasonably quick, 10-20 PPM)
Anyone have any recent experience with a small laser printer that I can
buy new for under say 200 dollars that Kubuntu 14.04 will already know
about?
Local to kanata or available by mail is a plus.
