Location: We will be at Algonquin this month, room T111. It will also be the SECOND Thursday, not the first. We will be back to the first Thursday starting in March.
This month we will have a talk from Peter Sjöberg on upgrading a very small ISP and an updated talk from Scott Murphy on an ad hoc collaboration system. There will be a one hour pre-meeting item from 18:00 to 19:00 for people who are new to Linux, have general questions, or wish to help out with people who are just getting started. After the meeting, there will be a social event at one of the nearby pubs or restaurants. A short discussion and vote as to location will be taken then. After the talks, there will be the opportunity for a GPG key signing. This is a monthly offering, just look for Scott after the talk and we can go from there. Bring some kind of photo ID and some keyslips if you expect people to sign your key. If you need some method of creating pages of keyslips, there is an online slip generator available at http://openpgp.quelltextlich.at/slip.html Note: New speakers welcome. If you have a topic or know someone who may have a good topic for a meeting, feel free to suggest it to the board. Additional Note: The April meeting will be our AGM. I’ll be sending a follow-up regarding the AGM and board elections in the next week or two. If you wish to be on the election slate, feel free to self-nominate yourself with a message to the secretary, secretary <at> oclug <dot> on <dot> ca _______________________________________________ Linux mailing list Linux@lists.oclug.on.ca http://oclug.on.ca/mailman/listinfo/linux
