Commence par v�rifier si ton P4 est bien un P4 HyperThreading (si tu as le logo Intel Inside sur ta machine, c'est peut-�tre not� dessus) parce que je pense qu'au d�part, seul le P4 3.2 Ghz �tait HT mais la gamme P4C (2,4, 2,6, 2,8, 3.0 Ghz) est venue s'ajouter � cette liste de processeur HT.

J'ai achet� un Dell Powerdge 650 avec un P4 2.4GHz. Je n'arrive pas � obtenir l'hyperthredingavec le kernel 2.4.22 (more /proc/cpuinfo me montre 1 seul cpu). - est-ce que tous les P4 � partir de 2.4GHz supportent l'hyper-threading ? Si non, comment savoir si c'est support� ? - quelles options dans le kernel : j'ai mis processeur P4, smp, acpi, et acpismp=force dans lilo.conf...
