Hi, This is what I found incase I'm not the only one wondering what a bit torrent tracker is?
What is BitTorrent? BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer protocol for distributing files. It makes use of the upstream bandwidth of every downloader to increase the effectiveness of the distribution as a whole, and to gain advantage on the part of the downloader. On average, the faster you upload to your peers, the faster you will be able to download. For more details about BitTorrent, see the FAQ, or the protocol specification for the technically-minded. First things first, though: get yourself a BitTorrent client. There are many to choose from: the official BitTorrent client, the more advanced BitTornado, and the multi-torrent frontends ABC and Azureus. found this on http://bt.etree.org/ Mike -- Mike Brandonisio * Web Hosting Tech One Illustration * Database Applications tel (630) 665-5613 * e-Commerce [EMAIL PROTECTED] * http://www.jikometrix.net JIKOmetrix - Reliable web hosting on 2/7/05 11:37 AM, Mike Brandonisio at [EMAIL PROTECTED] scribbled: > > Hi Daniel, > > Oh, So it will do version control on the files you upload?
