All vhosts are using name based matching.
I think the _default_:80 portion just makes it answer any address on 
port 80.

Maybe this is some ownership/permission problem, since all of the 
normal directories under /var/html work fine, but I have tried 
assigning various ownership/group/rwx settings and I keep 
getting "directory does not exist" when I start apache.
