Naresh -- Didn't we already go through this once before? Just get the most power your money can buy. For most consumers, that means finding a system at Best Buy/Circuit City/wherever that is on sale and has the most CPU, memory, and hard drive space of the sale systems. > Processor - Intel P4 would be nice. As long as it's 2GHz or higher, you'll be fine. Get as fast as your $$$ can buy (I like my 3GHz, personally). > Mother board - Unimportant unless you're BUILDING the system. > Display to get good resolution for my brother's PC Games - You mean display adapter, as in video card? If you're buying a pre-built system, I wouldn't worry too much about this. Unless your brother is playing high end games, most cards in prepackaged bundles will do ok; just make sure it has its own memory rather than sharing system memory. If you want to "do it right" you'll need to buy a separate card to install after buying the system. > RAM - 512M+ > HDD - 80G+ > Mouse - Unimportant. > Monitor - I have 15" Samsung Monitor Kinda small for playing games. > CDROM - I have Combo (CD R/W + DVD R) If you're buying a new system, it should come with a Dual Layer DVD+/-RW drive. > FDD - I have one Unimportant. ------------------------ Yahoo!
