Good news! DSL through bell south is very compatible with linux. You will get no support from bell south, but if you do some research you will find out how to get your DSL working. What distro are you using? If you are using Linspire or Mepis Linux, they should detect your dsl right away. If you are using Ubuntu or Debian, you may have to activate your ethernet port before you can use it, even if it is already working fine under windows. In any case, it would probably be easier to use dsl than dial up. Darrin

Read the modem documentation.
