No, I stated the fact that there is no Linux version of IncrediMail.

It is a dictatorship, as are all Yahoo Groups, with Yahoo being God (so
to speak), and the list owner (not me) as the absolute dictator, as long
as s/he does not displease the God Yahoo.

Beneath that absolute dictator, there is, generally speaking, a
meritocracy... those with the best Linux chops being at the top of the
heap, with everyone else finding their level, and newbies at the bottom
of the heap.

With about 6 years running Linux, I'm probably around the middle of the
heap, which makes me more aware now than I was when I joined my first
Linux list, of the wisdom behind the meritocracy model, and the
structure quasi-imposed on these lists, by the FAQs

This stuff was developed by trial and error, by a bunch of really smart
people, for demonstrably good reasons.

Stay or go as you choose.

You might want to check out the Jargon File:

There is a lot of history behind Linux, *nix, Open Source, Free
Software, etc.

Linux isn't Windows.

Linux/ *nix is about problem solving.

Windows is about having your problems solved for you.

Well I did join, like most of the lists I have joined or started over many
years, in order to learn and give help if I could.

I am very experienced in computing but have something to learn about this
platform. If that in the owners mind places me low in your ideas and theirs
so be it.

While I use Win XP I will use the client that I like best. When I have a
working Linux I will probably change again. I will in the mean time to fit
your rather narrow criteria change this list to Gmail.
