Hi,
thanks for your reply, now I get another problem.
1. I choose to install linux on an empty driver, after finishing installation,
i restart and i see that sometimes the program stops at the prompt:
"localhost login:"
although i type the login and password correct but it can not go to linux
interface, however sometimes it can overcome this problem directly and i do not
need to input login and password.
2. The other problem is when i want to return to windows OS, from restart after
the option for choosing OS:
1. for linux
2. Other
I click on Other, but i just got these sentences:
"Rootnoverify (hd...)
Chainloader +1"
then it is hang here !
I also try to use CD to install windows OS but the CD just runs for a moment
and then it does not run any more.
3. When i use another computer to format this driver, this driver can not be
displayed on other computer. If i only use this driver and boost from CD then
it can recognize the driver, however when I choose install, it just give me
information that: this driver contains partition incompatible to windows system
(although the partition as displayed is NTFS). next, I choose delete this
partition, and install new partition but this driver partition is displayed as
Raw partition. I continue press Enter for installing, but it returns to say
this partition is incompatible...
Finally it just suggests to install on partition only 8M, and ofcourse it will
not enough space to do it !
Until now i can not figure out how to return to windows OS or install new
windows OS or the way to delete linux OS for this driver.
If someone in this group have experience about this stuff, please help me.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Duong Van Yen

Let me suggest that this is your real problem, not a partitioning
problem. What type of drive and controller do you have
for drive E and F? It may be that you simply need a driver to
be loaded during installation of Fedora Core 6.

let us know a bit more about the hardware setup and I am sure we
can help.
