Hello,
I'm very new at using Linux and have a few questions regarding upgrading.
One. I cannot boot in with Ubuntu Kernel 2.6.20-16 and am currently
running on 2.6.17-12. Does one need to fix this problem before
upgrading to Feisty Fawn?
Two. Can one skip that process simply by upgrading to Feisty?
Three. Will I loose everything I currently have formatted? Although I
back up my own files, bookmarks, emails, etc... I would hate to have
to start from scratch with re-installations, etc...
I'm really enjoying Linux even though I've had many set-backs and
goof-ups. I picked up a few manuals for ubuntu which have helped, but
no one to answer my questions. I hope this forum can help me.
I have many more questions but will try to find other posts/threads to
answer them in.
