When I launch the PCLinuxOS 2007 Live CD, regardless of the boot option I select I get the message: You passed an undefined mode number. Jump to 80X25. Then it goes back to the boot screen. And in fact Damn Small Linux loads and seems to run well on this clunker of a laptop, so I think I'll stick with DSL for now. I still haven't used my wireless PC card yet, but I'm able to connect with the internet using an Ethernet cable. But I'm again going to give it my best shot. I found some free online courses at: http://www.linux.org/lessons/ which I'll go through when I find the time. There's also a newbies forum there which I'll make use of. Thanks for your suggestions. Relztrah To unsubscribe from this list, please email [EMAIL PROTECTED] & you will be removed. Yahoo!
