Hello everybody.......

I am facing the following problem

"INIT: Cannot execute "/etc/rc/d/rc.sysinit"
INIT:Entering run level:5
INIT: Cannot execute "/etc/rc.d.rc"
INIT: Cannot execute "/etc/X11/prefdm"
{this line is displayed almost 10 times)
INIT: id "X" respawning too fast disabled for 5 mminutes
INIT: id "1" respawning too fast disabled for 5 mminutes
INIT: id "2" respawning too fast disabled for 5 mminutes
INIT: id "3" respawning too fast disabled for 5 mminutes
INIT: nore more processes left in this run level"


I have written down the entire problem .
i am a newbie in linux.. so kindly tell how to use the linux rescue 
mode cd to overcome the problem.. This will provide the opportunity 
to learn
