I assume that you mean 'sendmail'. > 2) Apache Server ( Web Server) > 3) Data Server ( Samba) > 4) Gateway Server ( SQUID Proxy) > 5) Bugzilla Server > > Please guide me that What are ways to secure the server. > This question is so general, that it is basically meaningless. Making an absolutely wild guess, I would think that what-all you are aiming at, would be considered 'building a secure LAN', which would include, in addition to a server or servers, some Desktop machines, as well. You say 'in my company'... Does this 'company' exist as an actual business entity, or is it a homework project, from school? What is your present skill level, running computers, in general? You will probably receive more useful replies, if you explain both the actual details of the computing project, and your actual levels of expertise, working with *nix operating systems, LANs, and the hardware/software involved, and its actual current state... as in, is it a proposed homework assignment or commercial project, still just on paper, or is this an actual production situation, where machines are up, running, and connected to the Internet. -- -wittig http://www.robertwittig.com/ http://robertwittig.net/ http://robertwittig.org/ .
