Well, I have a number of software packages that I don't want to loose.
In fact, I'd give up on Linux before I'd trash some of these
applications. Perhaps for those of us who are less technicality
advanced and don't want an extensive time commitment, Linux's primary
usefulness is virus-free Internet use. If that proves to be true
then I'll have to decide whether to stick with it or just go back to
using Windows-only systems. I've spent the better part of the weekend
trying to get my sound card to work on my laptop, and I won't be doing
such things for very much longer.
