Hi,
I have got a problem after installing Oralce 11g Database on Linux 5. Before
this I had configured the Oracle Database 9iR2 on Widows2003, but after
upgrading database and OS as well, my reports are not displaying. Forms connect
with the newly linux Machine and getting query and posting transaction
successully. But when I execute the report it gives me error '
Get a 'REP-501: Unable to connect to the specified database' .
Before this, the AS10R2 was working perfectly with Database 9iR2 Windows-2003.
Application Server 10R2 on Windows 2003.
Database 11g on Linux RedHat 5 Enterprise Edition.
I have done the following.
1. remove the rep_webora_ashome.conf from d:\oracle\as_home\reports\conf
2. TNS_ADMIN = d:\oracle\as_home\NETWORK\ADMIN
3. OS env = d:\oracle\as_home\network\Admin
4. Regitry Edit ORACLE_HOME_KEY add String
TNS_ADMIN=D:\oracle\as_home\Network\Admin
